Ancient pendant

Ancient Egypt(5550Bc to BC)- In that time ancient peoples wore different types of things as ornaments such as scrolls, scarabs, birds, flowers, antelopes, jackals, tigers, etc. These jewelry were used as necklaces, amulets,  pendants, collars, rings, bracelets,  diadems, ankle bracelets, hair ornaments, distinctive brooches.Precious stones were used such as jasper, agate, lapis lazuli, carnelian.

Ancient Mesopotamia(2750BC to 1500BC)

The various  types of grapes, leaves, spirals, cones etc  were used as ornaments. In that period they were used  lapis, agate, jasper, carnelian, lazuli etc.

Ancient china (2200BC to 300BC)

In ancient time they were used diamonds, jade etc. They were used  flowers, deagons, turtles, pdoenix , diadems, seals, rings, pendants,  hair ornaments, forehead coins, bracelets etc.

Ancient Greece(1400 BC to 30 BC)

In that period they used animals, shells, garnet,  amethyst, pearls, chalcedony etc.

Ancient Rome(500BC to 400AD)

 In that period they used  amulets, rings, talismans, animals, depicting snakes etc. They also used rings, bracelets, earrings, brooches etc. They  used gems such as emerald, amber, diamonds, pearls, necklaces, earrings, sapphire etc.

Middle Ages(1066 to 1485)

In that period the strict law was that everybody could not wear jewelry.The rich peoples were only wear jewels of precious or semi-precious stones such as diamonds, sapphires, pearls, emeralds, rubies etc.

In ancient time Greek created verities types of new ornaments such as Ionic, Doric, Corinthian etc. There are many architectural ornaments such as stone, precious metals, wood etc.

Ancient Indian jewelry

In ancient time  various types of jewelry used such as armlet, anklet, hairpin, necklace, ring etc. Three types of Indian earrings used such as flower like called Karnaphul, circular type of earring called dehri,  simple circle like called kundala etc. They used flat, broad structure and short called kantha . The long necklace was called lambanam. They also used hip beads strings,that was made by red seed kaksha.
