Khurshid Alam and his songs

Md. Khurshid Alam
Md. Khurshid Alam has borned on January 8, in 1946. He is the most famous Bangladeshi singer . He borned at old Dhaka city and grown up also. In 1961-62 National competition of Education  Week was held and he awarded first prize on Rabindra Sangeet. Rabindra Sangeet was banned in 1965 in the radio. Then Alam decided to sang Adhunik songs. He sang about 300 songs of the music composers of Ali Hossain, Satya Shaha, Subal Das,
Azad Rahman etc.
He sang more than 3000 songs. He sang more popular songs such as Chumki Choleche Eka Pothe, Miss Lanka, Chupi Chupi Bolo Keu Jene Jabe, Maa Go Maa, Jodi Bou Sajogo, “Tomar Du Hat Chhuye sopoth nilam”.
He first sang for film of” Agantuk”in 1969 and this song is “Bondi Pakhir moton”. It’s lyrics by Dr .Ah sajedir Rahman and composed by azad Rahman. He sang also “Pitch dhala eyi path tarey”for the film of “shadharan meye” and it’s lyrics by gazi Mazharul anwar and composed by Rabin Ghosh.
He sang most famous song  “Churi korecho amar monta haire hai Miss Lanka” for the film “ Miss Lanka”.
