Nilufar yasmin

Yasmin was a Bangladeshi popular singer. In 1948  and 13 february she was born at Kalkata ,India. Her father's name was lutfar rahman and mother's name

was mouloda khanam. She graduated from Dhaka university. In 1968 she married with khan ataur rahman. She sang kirtan, nazrul songeet , thungri , classical , puratoni, tappa , rajonikanta , Atulprasad . She owned National film award , Ekushe padak, Bachsas award.  She sang "Eto sukh soibo kemon Kore " for the film shuvoda and awarded National film award.

In 2003 she died of cancer. She sang "Jibon seto poddo patai shishir bindu ". This music lyrics and compose by khan ataur rahman . This music is available in the internet.

She was a famous singer of Bangladesh. She was born on 13 February, in 1948. Her another sisters are Farida yasmin, Fauzia yasmin, Nazma yasmin and Sabina yasmin.

Her birth place was at 130/A  park street, Kalkata. Her father’s name was Lutfar Rahman. He was a civil servant of British India.  Her mother’s name was  Begum Mouloda Khatun.  Mouloda khatun was a vocal artist and from the musician of Ustaad kader Baksh , she learnt music lessons.  In 1965 she had passed H.S.C.  She took her graduation from Dhaka university and the subject of social science. In 1968 she was married to Khan Ataur Rahman.  Her only son  Khan Anisur Rahman (agoon) also a vocal singer.

Her carreer

Her career was on Nazrul sangeet and kirtan,   Rajankanta, Dwijendral, Atulprasad, Thungri, Tappa, puratoni etc.

She honored by Ekushe Padak,  Bachsas award.  She sang “Eto such shoibo kemon kore” for the film of Shovoda and got National Film Award for this song.  In 1975 . she got another Bachas Award for the film of Shujon Shokhi.  In 2006 she named as Nilufar yasmin Library  ar Natyokpla department of Dhaka university in Bangladesh. She died on in 2003.

Md. Khurshid Alam has borned on January 8, in 1946. He is the most famous Bangladeshi singer . He borned at old Dhaka city and grown up also. In 1961-62 National competition of Education  Week was held and he awarded first prize on Rabindra Sangeet. Rabindra Sangeet was banned in 1965 in the radio. Then Alam decided to sang Adhunik songs. He sang about 300 songs of the music composers of Ali Hossain, Satya Shaha, Subal Das,
Azad Rahman etc.

He sang more than 3000 songs. He sang more popular songs such as Chumki Choleche Eka Pothe, Miss Lanka, Chupi Chupi Bolo Keu Jene Jabe, Maa Go Maa, Jodi Bou Sajogo, “Tomar Du Hat Chhuye sopoth nilam”.

He first sang for film of” Agantuk”in 1969 and this song is “Bondi Pakhir moton”. It’s lyrics by Dr .Ah sajedir Rahman and composed by azad Rahman. He sang also “Pitch dhala eyi path tarey”for the film of “shadharan meye” and it’s lyrics by gazi Mazharul anwar and composed by Rabin Ghosh.

He sang most famous song  “Churi korecho amar monta haire hai Miss Lanka” for the film “ Miss Lanka”.

Bashir Ahmed

Bashir ahmed was a Bangladeshi playback singer. He was born 18 november 1939 at Kalkata, India. He sang more songs in Pakistani films and Bangladeshi films. He learned music to Ustad Vilayat Hussain at his early age of 15. He also learned from Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali khan at Bombay. He migrated to Dhaka in 1960. Bashir Ahmed introduced with Robin Ghosh by his brother in law Ishrat kalkatvi. He sang  some of songs for film Talash , like this titled song Kuch apni kahiyye kuch meri sunyey, yeh sham yeh tanhai youn chup to na rehiyye and Main rickshawalla matwala. He was a lyricist and poet also. He wrote and sang a song for film Saagar and the song was Ja dekha pyar tera . He wrote and sang another song for the film Karwan in  1964   Jab tum akele ho gay hum yaad aaein gay. He also sangfor the film Karwan, saagar, Milan, Kangan, Darshan etc. He sang many more bangla songs for Bangla film such as amake porate Jodi eto lage valo , anek sadher moina amar, shojonigo go Bhalobeshe ,o meyear nam ,jarye jabi Jodi Ja,Ami shat Shagar paridiye. On 19april2014,he died at age of 74 at Dhaka, Mohammadpur, Bangladesh.
