Bashir Ahmed

Bashir ahmed was a Bangladeshi playback singer. He was born 18 november 1939 at Kalkata, India. He sang more songs in Pakistani films and Bangladeshi films. He learned music to Ustad Vilayat Hussain at his early age of 15. He also learned from Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali khan at Bombay. He migrated to Dhaka in 1960. Bashir Ahmed introduced with Robin Ghosh by his brother in law Ishrat kalkatvi. He sang  some of songs for film Talash , like this titled song Kuch apni kahiyye kuch meri sunyey, yeh sham yeh tanhai youn chup to na rehiyye and Main rickshawalla matwala. He was a lyricist and poet also. He wrote and sang a song for film Saagar and the song was Ja dekha pyar tera . He wrote and sang another song for the film Karwan in  1964   Jab tum akele ho gay hum yaad aaein gay. He also sangfor the film Karwan, saagar, Milan, Kangan, Darshan etc. He sang many more bangla songs for Bangla film such as amake porate Jodi eto lage valo , anek sadher moina amar, shojonigo go Bhalobeshe ,o meyear nam ,jarye jabi Jodi Ja,Ami shat Shagar paridiye. On 19april2014,he died at age of 74 at Dhaka, Mohammadpur, Bangladesh.

He sang song in the film of Moner Moto Bou and this song  Amake Porate Jodi Eto lage valo is composed and lyrics by khan ataur rahman.
